Nigeria has recorded 246 new coronavirus (COVID-19) infections. This has brought the tally of infections in country to 67,220
However, there were 2 confirmed deaths within the last 24 hours, while 101 patients had recovered and were discharged.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) made this known via its official website on Friday night.
The health agency noted that the new cases were spread across 9 states and the Federal Capital Territory. Lagos led in the number of cases with 81 new infections, 73 in FCT, 39 in Plateau and 25 in Kaduna.
Also, Ogun had 13 infections Bauchi confirmed 5, Rivers reported 4 and Ekiti, Taraba and Kano recorded 2 infections each.
Since the beginning of the outbreak in Nigeria in February, more than 756,237 samples have been tested by NCDC, out of which 67,220 were positive.
NCDC on the 27th of November 2020, 246 new confirmed cases and 2 deaths were recorded in Nigeria
Till date, 67,220 cases have been confirmed, 62,686 cases have been discharged and 1,171 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
