Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Sunday announced additional 111 coronavirus infections in 7 states and the Federal Capital Territory. 

The total confirmed infections so far in the country now 62,964.

NCDC also said that 2 patients have been confirmed dead from the virus on Sunday, while 115 patients were discharged from isolation centers across the country. 

According to a post by Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Twitter, Lagos led in the number of cases  with 49 new infections, 30 in FTC, 11 in Rivers and 10 in Plateau.

Also, Ogun had 4 cases, Kaduna and Oyo had 3 cases each and Osun reported 1 case. 

Since the beginning of the outbreak in Nigeria in February, more than 627,600 samples have been tested by NCDC, out of which 62,964 were positive.

NCDC on 1st of November 2020 said that, 111 new confirmed cases and 2 deaths were recorded in Nigeria.

Till date, 62,964 cases have been confirmed, 58,790 cases have been discharged and 1,146 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
