Ligue 2 side Amiens have announced the signing of Stephen Odey on a season-long loan from Belgian First Division A side Genk.

The 22-year-old centre-forward arrived at the Luminus Arena outfit in the summer of 2019 but has struggled to establish himself with the club.

The CHAN Eagles striker scored a goal against Liverpool in the Champions League last season, but found himself out-of-favour at KRC Genk following the summer signing of Super Eagles striker, Cyriel Dessers.

Amiens were relegated from Ligue 1 last season, and currently sit 11th after 2 games in 2020/2021.

Odey could make his debut tomorrow when they face Paris FC.

He will wear the no. 9 shirt for the 2020/2021 season.

A new adventure, the former MFM FC and FC Zurich man will be hoping to start playing football consistently again.
