The Former House of Representatives Member and People Democratic Party (PDP) stalwart, Hon. Ladi Adebutu has distributed 10,000 hands sanitizers across Ogun State.
Speaking with journalists during the distribution at the Panseke motor park, Abeokuta, the factional PDP state chairman, Hon. Sikiru Ogundele said that the gesture is a little contribution from the honourable to assist the people of Ogun State at this trying times.
In his words, “today, we are distributing up to 10,000 hand Sanitizers to the good people of Ogun State as our little contribution to help in curtailing the spread of the dreaded coronavirus in our state”
“Distribution of the hand Sanitizers started yesterday at Sagamu and it’s being simultaneously distributed as I speak in other locations in the State”
“While we appreciate the efforts of the state, and federal government so far in this battle, we believe that this is the time for everyone to be involved in one way or the other”
“Hon. Ladi Adebutu knows that not everyone can afford the hand sanitizers at the crucial time, even as the prices have gone up due to scarcity, so he mandated that the distribution should be for the less privileged and that’s why you see us in the marketplace, car parks and streets” he said
Hon. Sikiru further called on the state government to provide enough economic stimulus package for the citizens adding that the total lockdown would have serious adverse effects on the populace if not handled properly.
