Exciting times await GOtv customers in the month of August, as the country’s leading terrestrial video entertainment provider has announced a line-up of programmes.
All through the month, GOtv customers will have access to the freshest of telenovelas, movies, kiddies, documentaries and general entertainment programmes from top local and international channels spread across different packages on the platform.
On Telemundo (GOtv channel 14) this month, the story of an ordinary girl in the big city continues in Betty in New York every week day at 7pm. After being rejected for multiple jobs, a young Hispanic woman living in New York City accepts a position which is far below her qualifications in the fashion industry. As she gradually finds herself in this new world, she will also have to face the greatest challenge of her life, which is love.
The concluding episode of season one of False Identity will be broadcast on Monday, 5 August at 9pm. An armed confrontation leaves Corona badly wounded and Mateo vowing revenge. Can Isabel and Diego assume new identities and escape with the children? False Identity follows the story of Isabel and Diego, two complete strangers, who assume the identity of a dead American tourist and his wife in order to escape their pasts in Sonora.
There’s more this month on Zee World (GOtv channel 25) every week day at 7pm with the romance-intrigued drama, Fire and Ice. On the episodes this month, Twinkle exposes Anand for Kunj’s kidnapping in front of the whole family. Leela has an altercation with Anita outside the house.

In The Next Big Thing, up-and-coming musical artistes are subjected to a development boot camp, where they are given access to top vocal coaches, trainers, choreographers, writers, producers, and glam squads to advance their careers. Follow their progression on the programme, starting from Thursday, 1 August at 8pm.
Then, Mary Jane Paul and her fans will get the closure they wanted, albeit with some heartbreak, tears and a new-born along the way in the season finale of Being Mary Jane, showing on Sunday, 4 August at 7pm.
Starting from Wednesday, 7 August at 8:30pm, the joy of 13 intending brides will multiply as each of them is given the opportunity to choose a wedding dress of their dreams in a new reality wedding show, Two Families and a Wedding Dress.
Still showing this month on BET (GOtv channel 21), movie buffs will be thrilled by the action movie, Bad Boys, on Sunday, 11 August at 7pm. The plot thickens as two hip detectives protect a witness to a murder while investigating a case of stolen heroin from the evidence storage room from their police precinct. The movie stars Will Smith and Martin Lawrence.
For GOtv customers with an interest in documentaries, CBS Reality (GOtv channel 22) presents Donal Macintyre’s Murder Files, showing on Monday, 12 August at 8:10pm. Donal Macintyre, a renowned undercover reporter and crime journalist, examines the most horrific and fascinating crimes, interviewing first-hand, the men and women who ensured justice was done.
