Samsung's QLED 8K TV is currently available only in a single size |
Samsung has launched the QLED 8K TV in four sizes - 65-inch, 75-inch, 82-inch and 98-inch. While the price of the 65-inch model is still unannounced, the 75-inch QLED 8K TV comes at Rs 10,99,900, while the 82-inch model is priced at Rs 16,99,900. Meanwhile, the 98-inch QLED 8K TV will cost you a cool Rs 59,99,900 and will only be available on a made to order basis.
The QLED 8K TVs offer 33 million pixel and offer a stunning resolution for an immersive experience. Samsung is also using its proprietary 8K AI Upscaling technology based on machine learning to upscale pictures as well as sound quality in 8K regardless of the source quality, Samsung claims. This means that the TV is capable of upscaling content on a streaming device or set-top-box in 8K quality.
Additionally, the Samsung QLED 8K TVs also come with proprietary Quantum Processor 4K that uses AI upscaling to improve brightness, picture quality and sound no matter the source content. The TVs also support Bixby as well as Google Assistant to help you access content through voice command. Notably, the 8K TVs also come with iTunes Movies and TV shows as well as AirPlay 2 support.
Samsung's non-8K QLED lineup includes sixteen models. Both the QLED 8K and QLED models will be available at Samsung Smart Plazas, leading retail stores across India as well as Samsung's official online store.
