Former England central midfielder, Danny Murphy, has hailed the performance of Pedro Rodriguez for Chelsea in their 3-1 victory over Crystal Palace on Sunday.
Murphy said though Pedro has not quite hit the heights for Chelsea like he did at Barcelona, he was still a vital player.
Murphy, a former Liverpool star, was impressed with the winger’s display against Crystal Palace.

Pedro was a constant menace for Maurizio Sarri’s side against Palace at the Stamford Bridge on Sunday.

He capped his fine performance by netting a goal in the game.

“I’m a big fan of Pedro for a couple of reasons,” Murphy said on BBC Match of the Day 2.

“One, I think the timings of his runs in behind are brilliant.

“Too many players don’t do that these days.

“His work ethic is also very good.

“He hasn’t at Chelsea showed the form that he did in that wonderful Barcelona side.

“But when he does play, he’s a threat and he got his rewards today.”
