TECNO Spark 2 unboxing-Design
Design wise, the Spark 2 shares the same design with the Camon CM, except that the Spake 2 is a bit bigger. The back is made of plastic which is a fingerprint magnet as well but thankfully it comes with a beautiful back cover.
At the back, you get the same 13MP camera that was used in the first Spark smartphone. This is followed by a 3-ring LED flash and the fingerprint scanner.
Just like the Camon X and X Pro, there is nothing at the top of the device which means that the 3.5mm audio jack is now placed at the bottom.
The speaker grille, the USB 2.0 charging port and the noise cancellation are equally located at the bottom of the phone.
The power button and the volume controller button can be seen at the right-hand side while the tray that houses the sdcard slot and the dual Nano-SIM slots located at the left-hand side.
TECNO Spark 2 unboxing-Display
Talking about the Display, Spark 2 dishes out a 6.0-inch screen with an 18:9 aspect ratio and resolution of 1440 *720.
At the front, there is an 8-megapixel selfie camera followed by the microphone and the dual LED flash.
There are three on-screen buttons – the multitasking button to access recently opened apps, home button and the exit button.
First Impression
My First impression of the TECNO Spark 2 is pretty good. Being a 1GB RAM device, however, we didn’t expect much from the device. The TECNO Spark 2 runs on a light version of TECNO HiOS V3.3 on top of Android 8.1 Oreo Go Edition. This is evident in the number of pre-installed apps and bloatware. Bunch of the installed apps are Android Go Apps such as YouTube Go, MapGo, FaceBook Lite, GoogleGo etc.
By the default, the Spark 2 lock screen notification is not activated, you have to go to notification under setting, then click on ” Show all notification content”
This is just my initial impression of the Spark 2 smartphone. The device will retail for N36,200 in Nigeria. Lemme know what you guys think about the device
