The late billionaire, Aare Arisekola Alao  was perhaps  one of Nigeria’s biggest greatest philanthropists and it is worthy of note that his sudden demise definitely created an indelible mark in the hearts of his dependants.
The influential and international business mogul, who was a friend of notable wealthy Nigerians and foreigners died in his London home on June 18, 2014 at the age of 69.
While reports had it that Arisekola died of prostate cancer, We can reveal the real cause of the death of the late international businessman.

It is on record that Arisekola was a great power broker, who could install and remove governors in the Pacesetters state at will.
Those in the know said that that a curse was placed on him by the most influential woman in the city of Ibadan. The woman was said to be the only woman who could look into the eyes of the Olubadan of Ibadan because of the powerful position she occupies in the city.
Another source disclosed that crisis started between the late Aare Arisekola and the woman, when he threw his weight behind Governor Abiola Ajimobi of the state for a second term in office, whereas the woman and some prominent Ibadan chiefs supported a former governor of the state, Senator Rasidi Ladoja, the Ekerin Olubadan of Ibadanland.

We also gathered that Ibadan elders went to Arisekola during the last election in the state and persuaded him to drop his support for Ajimobi, but that he told them of the need to allow Governor Ajimobi complete the ‘good work’ he started.
Several attempts made to persuade Arisekola on the issue allegedly met a brickwall, and we were told that Arisekola later ordered the removal of the woman’s electricity connection, which he had reportedly donated to her.
The, woman, who is regarded as the head of “mothers” in the city, was alleged to have placed a curse on Arisekola that he would not live to witness another year.

“Who do you think you are? I will show you that your money cannot save you because of what you have done to me personally and the Ibadan elders,” the woman was quoted to have said.
However, it was gathered that the woman was furious, when Governor Abiola Ajimobi eventually won the election, and that this aggravated her plan to deal with the late business mogul.
