Zahra Indimi, aka, Ya Gumsu, one of the daughters of Borno State, Maiduguri-based billionaire and oil magnate, Mohammed Indimi is now officially married to Mali-born, but Abuja-based fruit seller three weeks after the first attempt failed due to the failure of Zahra’s father to sanction the wedding.
The wedding fathia, which took place at the Maiduguri mansion of the in-law of ex-president Ibrahim Babangida was low keyed and was only attended by very close family members excluding the other wives of Mohammed Indimi and their children.
We gathered that this might not be unconnected with the recent controversies the family is swimming in with accusing fingers pointing at the direction of one of the wives as the mole revealing the can of worms in the family closet.
Mohammadu Diabase, the new husband, according to inside sources within the Indimi family, also has his own baggage hanging around his neck while entering into this marriage.
“Mohammed got married about 5 years ago to one Aisha Markudi and to the best of our knowledge the relationship was peaceful until he started dating Ya Gumsu. As we speak, the poor woman is in the United States of America expecting to put to bed any moment from now.

“I would’ve thought that any responsible man would be beside his wife during this period, but what we are seeing is that instead of travelling to the US, he went to Maiduguri to take a woman who left her husband in a not too clear circumstance, as wife no 2,” said a source.

Zahra was married to one Alhaji Bakare, a quiet gentleman from Adamawa about eight years ago, they even have a son together, but the relationship collapsed some years ago and since then, the poor man had moved on while Zahra too concentrated on her business within the family and her Tulip Bistro and Rice Bowl outfit located at 7 Atakpame Street off Adetokunbo Ademola Crescent in Wuse 2, Abuja.
