For a long time, movie buffs have had to endure the absence of one of Nollywood stars, Lanre Balogun grace their silver screens. Movie lovers got one of the best of the talented actor in Tunde Kelani hit movie, Thunderbolt (Magun) which he co-starred with Uche Obi-Osotule.
Most of his fans have wondered where Lanre Balogun has been all these years. The actor, as First Weekly reliably learnt, has now made a comeback in new movie shot in London.
Information at our disposal has it that the delectable actor recently acted in a movie by one UK-based Nigerian filmmaker, Theodora Ibekwe, 'Shameful Deceit'. The flick starred Lanre Balogun and Theodora Ibekwe.
First Weekly learnt that 'Shameful Deceit' will be premiered in London on Friday, July 5, 2013 at the Greenwich Odeon Cinema by 8pm.
Other stars in the flick are Fatima Jabbe (Mirror Boy), Moji Bamtefa (Meet the Adebanjos), Marie Gomez (The Past Came Calling) amongst others.
'Shameful Deceit' is produced by Theodora Ibekwe and directed by Ruke Amata.

'Shameful Deceit' tells the story of Elizabeth (Theodora Ibekwe), who continues to stand by her husband (Lanre Balogun) in spite of his philandering ways. However when her husband's infidelity got too close to home, Elizabeth is left wondering if her vows are worth the depth of betrayal she is facing.
