Airtel Nigeria, a leading telecommunications company, has generously contributed the sum of N2 million to the family of the recently born quadruplets in Lagos.

In response to the recent birth of quadruplets to Mr. Sodiq Olayode and his wife, Abiodun, Airtel Nigeria has pledged a generous donation of N2 million to support the family. This donation adds to the growing support and contributions received by the family, which have now surpassed N16 million.

Airtel Nigeria’s commitment to assisting the Olayode family was announced on X.com on Thursday, underscoring the company’s unwavering dedication to social responsibility and community welfare.

The post read, “Hello, #jamysax, when life gives quadruplets, we give #ovajara support! We’re adding N2m because great things come in multiples.”

The Olayode family’s story gained social media attention after Olayode’s colleague, Oyeniran James, shared their challenges on X.com on Tuesday.

James, under the Twitter handle #jamysax, shared that Olayode expressed her frustration over the quadruplets going through 105 diapers within a span of six days. This tweet led to an outpouring of support from online users, particularly Nigerians, who generously contributed millions of naira to Olayode's bank account, as facilitated by James.

On Thursday at 2:00 PM, James provided an update on the donations, reporting that they had reached N16,265,209.

In addition to the financial support, he further mentioned that several Nigerian citizens have generously donated diapers, baby essentials, and food items.

Olayode and his wife had initially anticipated the arrival of a single child but were pleasantly surprised by the birth of quadruplets, comprising two male and two female infants.
